City of Thousand Oaks Solar Initiative

The City of Thousand Oaks has been investigating use of solar energy for the Civic Center which includes both theaters and City Hall functions. Kaplan Chen Kaplan was asked to create schemes for installation of a specialty solar panel array on the Civic Center parking structure as well as for a nearby surface lot. We have provided a variety of layouts based on technology and specific location. The City has continued to investigate alternate systems and we recently provided drawings for a solar panel array for the public library.
